Yes! The Wee Shoogle is not a software application and does not have any software which will be installed on your machine, the Micro USB cable provided is simply used to power the device. The Wee Shoogle can be powered using a USB port on your computer or a USB wall plug like the one you may use to charge your mobile phone.
Place your wired or wireless mouse device on top of the Wee Shoogle, switch it on and the base plate will begin to rotate very slowly beneath your mouse. Within half a rotation the mouse trap will catch your mouse device and lock it into position whilst the base plate continues to rotate beneath it which makes the computer register that your machine is still in use. The pattern on the base plate creates random mouse movements to help prevent detection from mouse tracking software.

Avid PC Gamers use the Wee Shoogle to keep their computers active when downloading software updates or when they have paused their game (so as to not lose their place once the screensaver kicks in). Creative designers and many freelancers use the Wee Shoogle when they have set their machines to render images – which on many occasions they need to leave overnight.

It works with both cordless and wired mouse devices of varying sizes, from the small 9.5cm long Logitech M235 wireless mouse to the full-size ergonomic wireless mouse.
